Don Curtis

 Manager of Cost and Benefits

 

Don joined Alma Products in 1976 as the Cost Accounting Supervisor. In 1982, he assumed the role of Cost Manager, and in 1997, he became the Controller of Alma Products Company. In 2003, Don re-assumed the roll as Cost Manager as well as the administration role for various Pension Plans. Don’s strong costing background and his in-depth understanding of the science of remanufacturing are critical ingredients for Alma Product’s cost management and pricing strategies. Don received a BA from Adrian College and an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University. 

     

 

Matt Hanson

 Controller

 

Matt joined Alma Products Company in 2005 as the Controller. He is responsible for the accounting, treasury, and financial management of the company. Previous to this, Matt held Controller and Director of Finance positions for 21 years in the fiber reinforced plastics, flat glass, major appliance, aluminum die cast, and precision bearing industries. Of the 21 years, 12 years are automotive related.

Matt received a B.S. in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University where he majored in accounting. He is also a licensed C.P.A. 

 

    

 

Brian Pate

 Manager of Employee Relations

 

Brian joined Alma Products in April of 1997 as a Human Resources Representative after having been the Recruiting and Placement Specialist for Rouge Steel Company in Dearborn, Michigan. In 2005, he assumed the role of Employee Relations Manager and is directly responsible for human resource and labor relation functions. Brian is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is the former president of the Alma Chapter of the Michigan Council for Employers. Brian is a 1994 graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Studies.
