Alma’s Goal is Zero Impact to the Environment
REMANUFACTURE: A highly environmentally responsible process whereby not only material is saved, but other resources such as energy, labor and engineering skills originally employed are recovered. Alma, over it’s 60 year history has remanufactured over 1 Billion Kg of automotive subsystems.
REDESIGN: Alma has developed many repair and design conversions techniques that continuously reduce scrap material which eliminate the need for new parts.
RECLAIM: Alma reclaims material such as waste oil and converts it into energy to fuel boilers to heat the water to wash the parts. Over 500,000 liters of waste oil have been reclaimed over the last 10 years.
RECYCLE: All alloys, paper, wood, and plastics that are not remanufactured, redesigned, or reclaimed are then recycled to develop new products.
REDUCE IMPACT: Alma’s goal is zero impact to the amount of waste going to the landfill.
