Al joined Alma Products in 2004 as the Director of Engineering and became General Manager of the
Company in late 2007. As General Manager of Alma Products, Al is responsible for the overall operations and future growth and vision of the company. Prior to working for Alma Products, Al worked for 13 years with Ford Motor Company in various management positions as Chief Powertrain Planner for Ford of Asia Pacific, Australia, and South America, and the Advance Manufacturing Development group. He held several positions in transmission and torque converter design engineering and manufacturing. Al is a recipient of the Henry Ford Technology Award, SME Milton C. Shaw Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award, and holds 18 U.S. and European Patents. He is also a U.S.-Japan Manufacturing Technology Fellow and a Ford Educational Fellow.
Al received a BSME from Lawrence Technological University, a MSE from the University of Michigan, and a MBA from Vanderbilt University.
